After Maharashtra RERA has issued a significant order, real estate developers can also deregister projects with zero allotments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Developers may deregister a project if they are unable to commence or complete construction of the project, a phase, or a portion of the project due to insufficient funds, non-viability, disputes, or litigation. For the developer to comply, however, there must be zero allotments and zero reservations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the authority issued notices to over 17,000 project promoters, over 705 promoters of stalled real estate projects have sought renewal of registration with MaharRERA. Additionally, over 700 completed projects have been updated on the website of the authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Section 11 of the RERA Act, promoters must update MahaRERA every three months on the status of each registered project. To view a project&#8217;s certificate number, click the &#8216;View all projects on map&#8217; link in the upper-right corner of the page.
